Who we are

We are the data controller for the personal information you provide through this website, by phone or by email.

What information we collect

When you request a quote we ask for your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the type of work you need and any job details you choose to give us. If you call or email instead, we hold whatever contact details and job information you provide in that conversation.

We do not ask for payment details through this website. Payment is taken on completion of the work by card, bank transfer or cash.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, arrange a free site visit, prepare and send your written quote, carry out the work you have agreed, and deal with anything arising afterwards such as a guarantee claim.

Our lawful basis is your consent when you submit an enquiry, and the performance of a contract once you accept a quote. We may also keep records where we have a legal obligation to do so, such as for tax or insurance purposes.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only where it is necessary to do the job or run the business, for example with a materials supplier arranging a delivery to your address, or with our insurers or accountants where required.

This website may pass your enquiry to the customer enquiry system we use to manage quotes and follow-ups, so the details reach us reliably.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only as long as needed to follow up, then deleted. Records relating to completed jobs are kept for as long as the guarantee period runs and for as long as we are required to retain business records.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent to us contacting you. Write to us at the address above or email us and we will deal with your request.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
